Stormwind under attack (again) few days after the start of the third stage of
Elemental Invasion, began the fourth and final phase of that event pre-cataclysm. Stormwind and Ironforge (Orgrimmar for the Horde and Thunderbluff) have been attacked by the elemental fire and water.
I must admit I was a little 'disappointed by this last phase. While the storm of rain and lightning, and the people who evacuated the city were well chosen, the basic number and size were not afraid of anyone. If Blizzard wanted to make it look like Stormwind in real danger, he should at least make them bigger, and perhaps put the mini-boss here and there. Instead they decided to enter the mini-boss in the portals that opened in the city saved, just to extend the event with a poor sort of revenge attack. He was undoubtedly the most boring and not very successful event, there was always waiting in line to get into power one of the old istance where he was placed in a general strength of the elementary school.
A couple of tips for Blizzard, the next time you want to make a decent event:
- dubbing for the characters: the cries of the people evacuated, guards shouting orders, children screaming.
- Involvement of heroes: what was the king while the attack took place? Place it in the middle of the battle and shouting insults against the enemy. Maybe even do harm and bring strength to the castle as he shouts, "Nah, I want to fight.." Or make Anduin participated in the battle, now is great and it can be assumed to be capable of fighting. In short, put a bit of plot, events!
- elementary waves advancing: the primary should not be scattered handfuls here and there. Must be large groups unstoppable. There must be gates that break barricades and exploding in their path, they must win a lot of ground before being stopped at the gates of the castle of Stormwidn by heroic action.
- (optional) optional point it's hard to realize: the buildings burn and collapse. Maybe at the right time by pressing and blocking the way to elementary school, giving time to the guards and heroes to regroup.

Before the Battle (phase 1) start the event. A great storm broke out, the sky turns gray, Lightning fall with frequency.

the castle! (stage 4) This phase is like a retreat in the second phase, but it lasts longer.
